How to Take the Initiative and Heal Your Body

Wouldn't it be grand if you could blink your eyes, wiggle your nose or make a wish and get rid of an ailment?

Well, no proof exists about blinking the eyes or wiggling the nose, however, according to Louise Hay the author of "Heal Your Body" we have the power to heal our bodies--with a little incentive, persistence, and determination.

Her own story is quite compelling. If you haven't read it, please do so. You can get a glimpse of it here.

Like Hay, each of us has some type of trauma lingering deep inside. This kind of suffering eats at the core of your being and if not dealt with, it begins to deteriorate the physical body.

Unfortunately, many of us succumb to illnesses that are simply triggered by unresolved issues and emotional tender places in our lives.

It wasn't easy, but Hay overcame her illness. And she shares amazingly powerful information that's simple in nature but when followed, delivers miraculous results.

Hay presents this wonderful antidote in alphabetical form, explaining the ailment and offering an affirmation to counteract the disease.

My personal experience...it works!

"Heal Your Body" is  mysterious as well as miraculous. As you read it you'll realize that each explanation about you and the thing that weakens you physically is mysteriously true.

Also true is the miraculous result you'll enjoy when you're serious enough about wanting wholeness to work the process as is outlined in the book.

What Hay does is name the disease or ailment, then she explains the root cause and offers help--in the form of an affirmation--to begin the healing process. It's totally magical!

You may already be familiar with "Heal Your Body", but for those who are not, I want to give you this peek inside. Here are some of the priceless gems this magical book gives you:

  • Cancer - Caused by deep hurt. Long-standing resentment. Carrying a deep secret or grief eating away at the self. Carrying hatreds. Feeling like what's the use. Affirmation: "I lovingly forgive and release all of the past. I choose to fill my world with joy. I love and approve of myself."
  • Cholesterol - Clogging the channels of joy. Fear of accepting joy. Affirmation: "I choose to love life. My channels of joy are wide open. It is safe to receive."
  • Colds - Too much going on at once. Mental confusion and disorder. Harboring small hurts. Believe you have to get at least one cold every winter. Affirmation: "I allow my mind to relax and be at peace. Clarity and harmony within in and around me. All is well."
Naturally, we can't post the entire book. I mainly wanted to give you an idea of what's inside. Are you following the flow so far?

Also, I skipped around in the "C's". There are more identifications between 'cancer' and 'cholesterol'.

For the sake of giving you a gift you can appreciate, I'll list a few more:

  • Diabetes - Longing for what might have been. A great need to control. Deep sorrow. No sweetness left. Affirmation: "This moment is filled with joy. I now choose to experience the sweetness of today."
  • Fibroid Tumors and Cysts - Nursing a hurt from a partner. A blow to the feminine ego. "I release the pattern in me that attracted this experience. I create only good in my life."
  • Goiter - Hatred for being inflicted upon. Victim. Feeling thwarted in life. Unfulfilled. Affirmation: "I am the power and authority in my life. I am free to be me."
  • Heart Attack - Squeezing all the joy out of the heart in favor of money or position, etc. Affirmation: "I bring joy back to the center of my heart. I express love to all."
  • Itching - Desires that go against the grain. Unsatisfied. Remorse, itching to get out or get away. Affirmation: "I am at peace just where I am. I accept my good knowing all my needs and desires will be fulfilled."
Are you not totally curious right now?

As I near the end of this post, I'm already thinking of the joys of meditating and embracing the revelations and affirmations that speak to me.

This doesn't appeal to everyone. And that's okay.

But for those of you who hear these words speaking to you...this is your answer.  A serious approach to this will give you what you need and want, which is healing and wholeness.

If you like this sort of thing, the belief in the power of self--this is for you.

We often look on the outside for answers that can only be found within. This book directs the reader to look within. It's phenomenal.
