19 Actual Facts Everyone Should Know About Earth

Everyone knows or should know about the surroundings of their home.

You're familiar with the houses on the street, you know if there's a lake or pond, you're able to describe landmarks.

It's natural to know facts about your immediate surrounding. Over time, your natural habitat becomes a subconscious part of your daily life.

What about Earth? How much do you know about your planetary home?

Though you may not get to travel every inch of it or live on much of its beautiful terrain, aren't you still curious about the earth's diameter?  Do you ever wonder how much of it is land and what portion of it is water?

I want to list 19 fascinating facts about our marvelous planet. Facts that we don't bother about knowing or learning because maybe they don't impact us personally. But we couldn't be wronger.

Everything pertaining to Earth, the Moon, and the Sun is important to life.

Earth is our planetary home, the sun nurtures life on our planet, and the moon reflects the light of the sun by night. There are so many spectacular truths to know about life in the universe on the planet Earth.

The rate of replenishing balances with the rate of death, and there is ample space to accommodate life. Nevertheless, man continues to exaggerate living conditions on our planet.

Like cells replenish to keep the body healthy and whole, Earth replenishes herself to maintain and facilitate life on her terrain.

Motivated by greed, man travels Earth's boundaries exploiting her waters and lands, seeking to rob her of her treasures and lay barren her forests.

As noted in these 19 facts, man is incapable of simultaneously destroying the entire 196 million plus square miles of land and water.

Therefore, as he scurries to rip diamonds from Africa's womb and oil from the bowels of Saudi Arabia, our marvelous Earth hides insurmountable wealth and treasure within her secret places of creation.

She shall never be dominated. Before Mother Earth allows total and destructive domination of her prowess, she will open her mouth and swallow miles of perverseness. Destructive winds from untameable tornados and unruly hurricane waves come to her defense.

Man's wit is insufficient, and his efforts lacking against the surety of Earth's triumph.

While man hunts and scavenges that which he cannot possibly produce, Earth prepares a grave for him inside her vast darkness...one that he shall not escape.

Man seems anxious about acquiring more and more...even at the expense of the poor and needy of his communities.

Sadly, man, in his greedy conquests, cannot deter death, nor can he steal its power. In the end, Earth remains strong and dominant, and man must succumb to the power of death, the one enigma on Earth that he cannot conquer, and to whom he must yield up his ghost.
