Devin Hatchet Walker Dominates Field In Shannon Middle School's Third Game

Tuesday evening, Devin Hatchet Walker (number 4) eighth grader at Shannon Middle School, dominated the field...AND the game as the team competed for yardage on their home turf against Amory, in the third game of the 2015 season. Walker scored four touchdowns, contributing to his team's final winning score of 34-14.

Walker started playing peewee football at age 6; and is clearly not new to the game. Practically his entire team consists of fellow peewee teammates, who survived the hard knocks, intimidation, and pile-on tackles. Today, almost eight years later, Walker and his fellow players are a "force to be reckoned with."

Keeping his grades inside the "B" mark, Walker is a well-balanced player, whose goal is to be the best football player the game has ever seen.

Coaches of other teams are amazed at his abilities on the field. Asking him if he wants to move to their town and play for their school. Though they say it in jest, it's clear these coaches see a true diamond in the rough. He runs like his life depends on it. His moves challenge those of the pro's.

Wild hair; short physique; and wide body, like a "steamroller", rest assured-- Walker is someone to keep your eye on. Follow the game; follow the team; and when Walker emerges as a star player for Shannon...remember that you read it here first...
