2016 Presidential Shakeups and Shakedowns

Shakeups and shakedowns

Wisconsin primary results put a smile on the faces of the anti-Trump wing of the republican party. The real-estate tycoon had been darting the country in his private jet, pulling in crowds in excess of 10 thousand and winning in almost every place.

The so-called establishment wing of the party has been in a twisted fit at the idea of having Trump as the nominee. And after failing to neutralize and ultimately take down Trump's campaign with Mitt Romney's failed press conference, republicans began scurrying to their respective corners.

It had been reported that some establishment Repubs were beginning to accept the strong possibility of having Trump as their party's nominee. They absolutely hate Cruz, hardly ever think of Kasich and shudder at the thought of Trump.

Oiling the Clinton Machine to Run the Country

Hillary Clinton
They've cranked up the Clinton machine, and some say it could do with a little oiling.

Hillary Clinton is a political chameleon, with the ability to change sides, change positions and revise statements to fit the moment that benefits her political objectives.

On the other hand, her husband and impeached partner devised a system that sent more blacks to prison than under any other administration. And to think he proudly responds to being called the "first black president".

Is This The Age Of 'TRUMP' or 'George-Wallace' Replay?

Donald Trump, 2016 presidential candidate

UPDATED - March 18, 2016
This look of indifference is smug, defiant and even a bit sad.

Donald Trump is a news buff who watches every relevant network. So, it's guaranteed that he's heard the many sarcastic remarks about his presidency.

That said, smug defiance in the face of harsh ridicule isn't surprising.

After all, despite brazen news conferences, gender insults and harsh tweets, Trump is still human.

And while  networks and so-called establishment politicians  were snickering and making snide comments about the real estate billionaire, he was apparently in one of his plush board rooms planning his triumph.

Fans Wondering Why Karyn White Didn't Perform "Super Woman" at the BET Awards

Good morning!

Been on a blogging break to honor other writing obligations.

Done with that for now. Here I am, for a minute.

After a sabbatical, the first post is customarily fluffy, if you get my meaning.

But this one isn't. It focuses on the buzz around the recently televised 2015 BET Awards. No surprise there, huh?

Clocks Return to Standard Time: It Won't Be Dark at 6 AM

Daylight Saving Time...?

What's happening here?

Based on what we know, daylight saving time isn't coming in, it's going out, and time goes back to normal...supposedly. After tampering with the clock for so long, who knows what normal is?

The whole idea is to have longer days during summer so we can make better use of daylight to do things that we wouldn't be outside trying to do in freezing temperatures, which conserves energy.

Therefore, someone proposed manipulating the time to give the illusion of more daylight.

Notice I said, "give the illusion of more daylight". That's because manipulating the time doesn't add or subtract daylight. It merely adjusts the hour to determine how light it will be at 6 AM and at 6 PM (when the sun rises and sets).

Do We Need the Dirt of Scandal, Social Unpleasantry, Criticism and Gossip to Achieve Personal Growth?

Life experience is almost always "dirty".

Some would argue that we need the filth of life experience to grow and produce better decision-making.

You ask, "What do you mean by that?"

There's no other way to put it. We need dirt to grow.

Spreading or talking about unpleasant rumors is called "gossip" by many, and some call it passing judgment.
